AGM lecture
Our AGM lecturer, Dr Anthony Seldon, is a former head of Brighton College and currently Master of Wellington College, although he regards himself as a writer at heart. Among his many books are biographies of John Major and Tony Blair – and the controversial Brave New City: Brighton and Hove Past, Present and Future. For us, he revisits this theme, asking Whatever happened to our brave new city? The lecture takes place in the Music Room of the Royal Pavilion at 7pm on Wednesday 13 April, before the AGM at 8pm.

Outgoing chairman Stephen Neiman writes: “The Regency Society, during its 66 years, has fought many battles and has had many successes but, with the growth of more localised conservation groups, the Society’s role in planning needs to be redefined.” Read more…
